Sometimes I get to go to new places to do sessions. This one was done at a family vacation home that has been in the family for many, many years. They were looking to get one good family photograph of everyone (I think the mission was successful!) I always get a little nervous about doing sessions that I haven’t visited yet. Even though some places are picturesque, it doesn’t necessarily make them a perfect location for a session. The is place was perfect. We did the session in the middle of the day (which can be tricky) but some big beautiful trees provided enough open shade that it all came together.
